FEWA signs a Strategic Agreement with SAP Middle East and North Africa Ltd.

13 March 2011 - FEWA signed a strategic agreement with SAP Middle East and North Africa Ltd. Aiming to standardize all divisions in FEWA or on SAP software solutions as a step towards achieving FEWA's vision of being a world class utility company.

By working together with SAP, FEWA intends to upgrade its services to be available and easy to use, and also to drive future discussions with the renowned international company.

The said agreement includes running workshops about power generation, perfect plants, transmission, distribution, future smart grids, smart metering operations, pre-payment, renewable energies, sustainable cities, CO2 reporting, and overall sustainability.

The agreement was signed on behalf of FEWA by H.E. Mohammed Saleh, Director General, who commented on this partnership by saying that "this step came within FEWA efforts to improve our activities and to enhance co-operation between Govt. bodies and private sector companies".
